A full equestrian complex for a working stud farm — stabling, arena, sheds, solar and roading, designed and built by us.

A full equestrian complex designed and built for a working stud farm in Harakeke. The brief was comprehensive: stabling, a custom horse crush and foal pen, tack room, feed room, hay shed, horse arena and round pen — plus a large clear-span shed, solar power, rainwater collection and roading throughout the property.

The clients were returning to us: we had built something similar on their previous property, and they wanted it replicated here with a good deal more besides. The new site allowed for it — and asked more of us, with ponds and stands of established trees to design and build around rather than through. Keeping that setting intact mattered as much as the buildings did.
